Plane Finder - Flight Tracker App Reviews

App is a lot of fun especially if your really into planes. My biggest complaint is the app doesnt always work. On numerous occasions, the plane info and flight info is unavailable and for an app I paid almost $7 for that is unacceptable. Extremely frustrating to say the least. I have done every update and the same thing continues to happen.

This does exactly what it sets out to do. I enjoy watching flights pass by overhead and then seeing where they are headed

I LOVE this app for many reasons: the panoramic view of planes in the sky, the info on scheduled vs estimated times of arrival (jet stream!), the sheer variety of commercial and private flights. Its heightened my appreciation for the volume of air traffic that airports and controllers around the world manage.

I like the added info available at the bottom of the screen but miss the prior basic flight info tags that popped up when touching on a aircraft. Also coverage in my area seems to have dropped since the update.

Great Updates ... One more thing .. Please change the color of flight path as its the same color of other aircrafts . Really nice updates thx a lot

Ok this app is so worth the money. Whether youre a diehard and love aviation or just are curious to know what plane you just saw, this is the app to get. Ive learned so much from using it and its so handy. Ive seen this app grow over the last year and every update is better and better. Its so accurate and easy to use. Definitely get it!

Since September update... what did you do?! Awful with the big jump up window with flight information... please put back banner on plane, much easier to follow. Big mistake making this change. If you love flying like I do, then you might enjoy this app. Follow your favorite flight from conception to final approach. It might be time-consuming, but fun following different flights. Highly recommend this app.

Love the new updated features and ease of use.

Ive always wondered about the planes I see in the sky, and now I can satisfy my curiosity! Havent used it for personal flight info yet, looking forward to it.

Outrageously great. Tracks aircraft even when not on instrument flight plan or flight following. Great visuals and real time representation. Beats any other app out there!!! Highly recommend this app.

New layout took a little getting used to but it has made it easier to see all the info at once.

I used it to track one plane with tail number but now cannot fond it in the plane database.

This app is amazing. I can see whatever flight I want, except for connecting flights. The fact that I cant see connecting flights kind of bothers me. Ive seen improvements on that, but very little. Still, there are lots of cool things you can do, like view the airline, carrier, and the aircraft type. Also, its definitely worth the money. I wasnt expecting helicopters on the map, as well! Its definitely worth keeping, if you are a "plane stalker hobbiest" as Id say, or if your a pilot yourself. (Im both) But just dont use it if you are a pilot in the air... thats illegal.

All I can say is, wow. This app is cool... Nuff said.

This New Update is absolutely Fantastic! If you are an Aviation Enthusiast or an Aviator then this APP will certainly keep your attention pointed to the sky. I pull out my iPhone and open the APP ever time I hear or see a plane fly over and I also purchased the Live ATC APP - the sister APP to this one and simultaneously listen to Air Traffic Control talk to the Aircraft I am watching on this APP makes it all Very Exciting! Excellent Job!

Sitting under the stars, where is that plane going gets answered.

This app is genius! I can spend an hour just following flights! The only thing I would change would be to add an option where you can choose Fahrenheit or Celsius for the outside temperature.

The latest upgrade is the greatest ever.
